Oh my goodness, I love these two.  Well, I love watching these two just love being together.  They’ve got an incredible story that I’d have to let them share sometime, but its a beautiful example of grace, and hope.  It gives me great joy to be a part of their engagement and wedding plans.  We scheduled our engagement shoot to see how we all worked together before plunging into a big ole wedding contract.  I want to make sure they love what I can capture, and I want to make sure I love tromping all around their love story.  Well, I can only take credit for part of what was captured here because what was on the other side of my lens was just stunning.  They naturally and authentically dig each other.  Sure, I think I put Shawn in some awkward positions (I think I even caused a slightly embarrassing rip in some pants, lol)…but dang they looked good!  Jade and Shawn, thank you for sharing your beautiful love story with me!

I’ve enjoyed capturing Erin’s more sophisticated and somber side in themed shoots I’ve done for my cousin’s engineering firm.  So it was fun for me to see the more family mom side of her, the one that just couldn’t get the sassy sophisticated side to show with an audience of hubby and kids watching!  A beautiful team they’ve pulled together there, with lots of spunk in those two younger twins.  Big brother definitely has his part in keeping them in line, all fun to watch from afar.  It warms my heart to see the casual squishing love ooze out.  You’re precious!

I just get tickled when I get to go out and play with friends.  I love watching my girlfriend’s husband squirm as I ask him to display a little more public affection than he’s displayed in years, and I love watching how they all bust up laughing once mom gets done with her scolding that always ends with, “hey, shape up everyone, look happy.”  Awww Mom.  Thank you, beautiful Albright family, for such a fun fall afternoon.  When the collections arrive, I’m going to love seeing how they smile up your walls!

Curtis is just here to get his picture taken.  That’s it.  Take the picture.  But MAN, when you’ve got eyes like that and a smile to swoon over, this old girl is going to want to take more than just a single picture!  I showed Curtis a posting I found on Pinterest, “senior boy…no idea who you are, or where you are-but you are a beautiful male…”  That got me a few smiles outa him.  Curtis, that’s what they’re sayin’ about you!

Her eyes dance when her smile lights up and I love to see her laugh.  Erin and her bestie Laura planned their senior portrait session together and anything with your bestie is just so much more fun!  I suggested a couple of whispery giggly poses that the girls quickly nixed for being too gossipy feeling, and I knew right then I had two beauties with integrity and character on top of their amazing outside beauty.  And boy, they are . . . beautiful.  I love everything I see in you, Erin.  Blessings on you as you face all of life’s decisions coming your way.

Laura has ice blue eyes that wow me every time I look at her.  Her series poses are striking.  But that’s not her personality at all, because just look when she turns on that smile!  YES!  And it was a lot of fun watching Laura and her bestie, Erin, turn on the giggles and laughter (and not be able to turn it off) once they got going.  The thunder cleared and gave way to some beautiful light for you beauties.  God is good!  All the best to you in this amazing milestone year.  May you follow His lead in all life’s journeys ahead!

Oh sweet baby Martin, welcome to our world. I can’t wait for you to see all that your Daddy is going to show you here!  He is the proudest man around.  Mama has her gentle hand on you and will help nurture you along the way, but I can tell your daddy is a swooper upper and has got some adventures planned for you!  Welcome little man.

They’ve got a cute kid.  And they know it.  Problem is, how do I keep up with him?  It’s called the “Toddler Hustle,” the dance photographers do to keep up with those between 1 and 3, trying any trick, song, sound, or sweet.  Finally resorted to the big dandy lollipop for the big finale.  I think we can all agree….with him on your wall it’s all pretty sweet!

She’s beautiful, confident, and this girl loves her truck.  I’ve watched Miranda grow up from middle school into this amazing woman, ready to tackle challenges ahead.  I’m so proud of her.  I have really enjoyed getting to know her and spend time with her in such an intimate setting, I mean, senior photos really gets kind of personal when you’re looking to capture all of the favorites that help shape one’s personality.  And she’s just one good gal.  Cowgirl up.

April in Colorado provides no guarantees for great weather.  Snow on your outdoor springtime wedding day wasn’t exactly Sarah and Jake’s plan, but it didn’t phase them nor dampen their fun.  Sarah wore her mom’s wedding gown and it was amazing on her.  That melted Daddy’s heart too and he had a tough time keeping those emotions contained when he was giving her away.  Jake just took his bride’s hands so tenderly and helped make her strong, just like he does.  May your lives be evidence of the strength and support you build into each other.  Love you both so much!
